DESIGN ENGINEER

The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development

of cutting-edge equipment, from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for light construction equipment.
Produce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and quality.
 Ensure designs meet relevant safety, regulatory, and performance standards.
Drive continuous improvement in product design and manufacturing efficiency.
Requirements

Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline qualifications.
Proven experience in a design engineering role (ideally within manufacturing or construction equipment)
Proficiency in CAD software, e.g. SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical principles.
Problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
