Reporting Assistant

Job Description



Ensure that all month end tasks are completed on time and accurately; Complete balance sheet and control reconciliations accurately; follow in-place strong controls and validation processes for new intercompany relationships and ensure reconciliation of all intercompany transactions. Provide support to the Finance Director the preparation and submission of financial reporting weekly financial planning meetings.

Key Reporting Assistant Skills and Competencies



  • Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.
  • Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance director
  • Help oversee and manage individual accounts
  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
  • Reconcile any discrepancies or errors
  • Collect information for and prepare payroll payments for employees
  • Assist the financial director in creating financial reports on a regular basis
  • Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures
  • assisting with financial reporting to managers and senior executives



Education and Experience

  • Accounting Degree
  • Financial reporting/job costing background.
  • Strong excel skills (pivot tables, conditional formatting, vlookup)
  • Ability to process financial data quickly, and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal, and communication skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes
  • knowledge of general accounting procedures
  • knowledge of ERP systems
  • proficient in data entry and management
  • 1-3 years accounts reporting/accounting experience
