3.5 Tonne Driver – South Elmsall, West Yorkshire

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in South Elmsall, West Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for progression.

Shifts

• Working any five days out of seven
• Day shifts: 05:00 – 08:00 start times
• Night shifts: 22:00 – 02:00 start times

Rates of Pay

• Days: £12.86 per hour
• Days overtime after 45 hours: £16.72 per hour
• Nights: £15.43 per hour
• Overtime after 45 hours: £20.06 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a 3.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Making high-volume multi-drop deliveries
• Driving delivery vans safely and efficiently
• Loading your own vehicle at the start of the shift
• Completing store deliveries and collections
• Carrying out vehicle checks
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure

Essential Skills

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid UK Category B driving licence
• A minimum of twelve months’ experience in van delivery driving
• The ability to communicate effectively
• No more than six points for minor offences
• A strong work ethic and reliability

Desirable Experience

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred but not essential

Training Provided

• Candidates must pass a driving assessment to be successful in this role
