An established education agency is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Secondary Tutors to support Looked After Children (LAC) across the Salford area.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who require additional academic support and consistency outside of mainstream classroom settings.

• Deliver 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged students (KS3-KS4)

• Support core subjects (English, Maths, Science - additional subjects welcomed)

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions

• Build positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable learners

• Provide progress updates and feedback to the agency and relevant professionals

• Qualified teachers, experienced tutors, or strong subject specialists

• Experience working with secondary-aged students

• Previous experience with SEND, SEMH, or Looked After Children is highly desirable

• Patient, empathetic and resilient individuals

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
