Location: Wellingborough
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time - Long-Term (Potential to Become Permanent)
Salary: £100-£160 per day (Depending on Experience)

We are currently supporting several secondary schools in Wellingborough who are looking for Unqualified Maths Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about teaching to step into a rewarding role without needing Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

The Role:

Deliver Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students using provided schemes of work

Help learners build confidence in core topics such as algebra, geometry, and data handling

Adjust your teaching approach to support a range of learning abilities

Create a positive and focused classroom environment, encouraging student participation

Support with marking, progress tracking, and classroom planning under the guidance of experienced staff

Work as part of a collaborative Maths department committed to student success

What We're Looking For:

A degree in Maths, Engineering, Physics, or a similar subject

Previous experience in education, tutoring, or youth mentoring is highly beneficial

Confident communicator with the ability to explain mathematical ideas clearly

Motivated, dependable, and enthusiastic about supporting young people

Interested in a long-term career in education - ideal for those considering teacher training

Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS
