A friendly and supportive secondary school in the NG5 area of Nottingham is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. This is a full-time role supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), working both 1:1 and in small groups.

The school prides itself on creating a welcoming environment where every student is supported to reach their full potential. They're now looking for someone who's patient, reliable and wants to make a difference in young people's lives,

What the role involves:

Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1-1 basis and in small group sessions
Helping pupils with their learning and adapting tasks to suit their needs
Working closely with teachers and other support staff to track progress
Creating a calm, positive space where students feel safe and encouraged
Supporting behaviour in a consistent and caring wayRequirements:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)
A calm, understanding approach - especially when faced with challenging behaviour
