We're partnering with a fast-growing, forward-thinking consultancy that's setting the benchmark in fire safety and compliance across the UK. With a strong and varied portfolio of projects—spanning new builds, existing structures, and external wall safety—this is an incredible opportunity to join a team making a real impact.

We're looking for a Senior Fire Engineer / Consultant with a deep understanding of fire strategy and building safety to work across high-profile, technically challenging projects. You'll be involved at every stage—from concept through to post-occupancy—helping shape safer buildings and communities.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Leading External Wall Fire Risk Assessments (FRAEW) in line with PAS 9980 guidance

* Developing and reviewing Fire Strategies for new and existing buildings

* Conducting detailed site inspections, fire safety audits, and producing technical reports

* Advising on regulatory compliance with Building Regulations, Approved Document B, and other relevant standards

* Supporting clients through the planning, design, and construction process

* Collaborating with architects, developers, local authorities, and stakeholders

* Mentoring junior fire engineers and contributing to technical leadership within the team

What's on Offer:

* 💰 Salary: £80,000 - £100,000

* 🎓 £100,000 - £150,000 if Chartered

* 🚗 Company vehicle (if desired)

* 🏖️ 28 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

* 🏥 Private Medical Insurance

* 🛡️ Life Insurance + Employer Pension Contributions

* 🏡 Flexible/Remote Working - work from anywhere in the UK

What You'll Bring:

* A degree in Fire Engineering, Fire Safety, or a related field

* Chartered or working toward Chartership (IFE or equivalent)

* Experience in fire strategy development, risk assessments, and compliance inspections

* Strong knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and standards
