Part-Time Cook

Grimsby £25,500 – £27,500 per annum (pro rata) 24 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Cook to join a friendly and supportive team in Grimsby. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys producing good-quality, nutritious meals and takes pride in working in a clean, well-organised kitchen.

The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and serving meals while ensuring individual needs are fully considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals to a consistent standard
• Planning menus and providing a variety of meal choices
• Catering for special dietary requirements, including medical, cultural, and religious needs where appropriate
• Supporting menu planning, portion control, and nutrition standards
• Ensuring all food hygiene and health & safety standards are met
• Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas
• Managing stock levels and minimising waste
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet service needs

About You

• Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling practices
• Able to plan meals that meet diverse dietary needs
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• A positive attitude and passion for cooking
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain) desirable
