Quantity Surveyor
Location: London
Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 + Car Allowance + Pension + Life Assurance + Annual Leave

Fawkes & Reece are working with a leading Groundworks and Civils contractor, established over 30 years ago, to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. Role Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of multiple live projects. You'll play a key role in cost control, procurement, and commercial reporting, ensuring profitability and compliance across all stages of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all commercial aspects of allocated projects
Prepare valuations, variations, cost reports, and final accounts
Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting
Procure subcontractor packages and manage ongoing commercial relationships
Identify and mitigate commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle
Attend progress and client meetings as required

Skills & Experience Required:

5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying within groundworks, RC frame, or infrastructure sectors
Background working with either main or subcontractors
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Self-driven and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

Benefits Package:

Salary range: £60,000 - £900,000 (depending on experience)
