Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Devon area who are actively looking to recruit an Area Manager on a temporary to permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

The Area Manager will be responsible of managing the cleaning of several sites within the Reading, Swindon and Gloucester Area.

• The Area Site Support Manager's main responsibility is to ensure cleaning services are delivered smoothly and consistently across all three sites each day. This includes liaising with clients, building strong relationships with cleaning staff, and working closely with head office support.
• Compile KPI reports accurately using Excel.
• Be confident using Microsoft tools, including Outlook.
• Monitor cleaning stock levels.
• Arrange cover for staff absences, including allocating staff and organising transport where needed.
• Provide training and inductions for new team members, with support from head office.
• Manage and monitor staff attendance using electronic systems.
• Identify any cleaning issues or below-standard work and resolve them effectively.

What you will need to succeed:

• Experience in cleaning, facilities, or a similar management position is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills
• Be in a beneficial geographical area - Devon/Exeter location
• Proactive and have the ability to deploy and oversee employees
• Ability to liaise with client representatives and cleaning teams
• Have a full clean driving licence
• DBS check preferred

What you will receive in return:

• Monday to Friday average 40 hours per week - 09:00-17:00 (must be flexible)
• £17.00 per hour on temporary basis
• £36k per annum on permanent basis
• Will be provided with a laptop, email, and either a vehicle or mileage allowance
• Remote working
