Yolk Recruitment are exclusively partnered with a specialist print and communications management company who deliver secure communications for clients in local government, NHS/health, utilities, housing and more.
This is a hands-on compliance role, focused on Health & Safety, risk management, audits and driving continuous improvement across Quality, Environmental, Information Security and Business Continuity systems.
You will be working closely with experienced members of the team and other team leaders across the business to ensure compliance, provide guidance and support operations.

This is what you'll be doing as Compliance Officer
- Administer, audit, and review Health & Safety systems in line with legislation and company policy.
- Lead internal audit programmes and manage the audit team across all QHSE areas.
- Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 22301, 27001, FSC, and PEFC standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, manage business risk registers, and monitor corrective actions.
- Act as a point of contact during client and third-party audits.
- Support sales and operational teams with compliance queries.
- Participate in H&S Committee meetings, site compliance walks, and scenario-based continuity exercises.
The experience you'll need in this role:
- Health & Safety experience, ideally within manufacturing environments.
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or Diploma).
- IOSH / Risk Assessment qualification.
- Internal auditing experience/ISO Lead Auditor
- Strong knowledge of ISO management systems (9001, 14001, 27001, 22301).
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to drive continual improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting operational teams beyond audit, e.g., sales or customer queries.
- Previous experience leading compliance initiatives or deputising for management.
