A warm, nurturing and well-resourced day nursery in Warton (near Preston) is seeking an experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their committed and friendly team. The setting provides high-quality childcare and early education for children aged 0-5 years, focusing on learning through play, emotional security and individualised development.

About the Role

This position offers 30-34 hours per week, with fixed days and hours agreed in advance to support work-life balance.

You will:

Support children across the 0-5 age range

Deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences

Carry out observations, planning and assessments

Build strong partnerships with parents and families

Ensure that safeguarding, welfare and safety standards are consistently met

Contribute to a positive, collaborative and caring team environment

* Show enthusiasm for supporting the learning and development of every child

* Build strong, trusting relationships with families
