This is an broad finance opportunity for an accountant with insurance and/or reinsurance experience to join a small MGA operation as they continue to grow. This broad role is being hired Initially on a six months FTC but has real potential to go longer term as the company continues their expansion. Core responsibilities will include

• Production of the monthly management accounts for the UK entity
• Preparation of the technical and non technical trial balance including review of financial data, general ledger reconciliations, balance sheet and P&L
• Supporting with analysis of financial and management information
• Production of the client money calculations
• Reporting on both credit control and cash flow positions
• Assisting with the preparation of financial data for external parties including rating agencies
• Support on a variety of finance transformation projects

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with direct experience of working within the re/insurance market (broker, MGA or carrier). You will be available at short notice and along with your strong accounting skills will also be strong communicator
