Forensic Mental Health Assisatant required in Diss supporting adults over the age of 18 with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.
The role will involve supporting and assisting registered nurses and qualified staff in the assessment, planning and implementation of clients care, monitoring the wellbeing of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are referred to nurse in charge, developing and maintaining a good professional relationship with patients, colleagues and visitors.
The role holder will also be involved in the delivery of patient care as prescribed by the individual care plans.
Applicants will have the option to work Long Days, Nights and Weekends
Hours are: Days 07.30 - 19:45 Nights 19:45 -07.30
Previous experience in working with acutely mentally ill patients is desirable. However, in exceptional cases training will be provided. Must have trasport available due to the location.
