Female Support Worker Service/Location: Aspens –Pembury, Kent, TN2 4QU Are you a Support Worker / Carer who wants to make a real difference in the lives of those you support? Do you enjoy encouraging choice and independence? If yes then this could be the perfect role for you! We are recruiting a female support worker to work as part of the dynamic team that supports 6 service users who have learning disabilities and some additional conditions such as Downs Syndrome, epilepsy and dementia.
You would be expected to help support with personal care, general tasks of day to day living and supporting the service users at health appointments and on activities.
Our service users enjoy lots of activities including regular music sessions, trips out to the seaside, day centres and visiting coffee shops.
We are a caring supportive team that work together to give the very best to the people we support.
Full time 37 hours per week working long days and some weekends on a rota basis which will include some sleep in ; About us At Aspens, we have over 100 years of experience in supporting people with learning disabilities and on the autism spectrum as well as children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities or complex needs.

In fact, our most powerful advances come from the people we support, because they tell us how it should ; Support Worker Requirements Level 2 Diploma/NVQ in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards the qualification Full Driving licence with access to transport and happy to take service users out.
