Senior Architectural Technologist

Location: London

Salary: £45-52,000

A well established and expanding architectural practice in London is looking to appoint a Senior Architectural Technologist to take a leading role in the technical delivery of projects. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to oversee projects from RIBA Stage 4 onwards, translating design concepts into fully coordinated and buildable solutions across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:* Lead the technical development and delivery of projects from RIBA Stage 4 through to completion* Produce and manage comprehensive technical drawing packages, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and detailed construction information* Coordinate technical design information with internal teams and external consultants* Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to support successful project outcomes* Ensure all technical documentation complies with current Building Regulations, housing standards, and warranty requirements* Apply technical expertise to produce practical, compliant, and well coordinated designs

Essential Qualifications and Experience:* Proven experience delivering medium to large scale projects, preferably in residential or mixed use developments* High proficiency in Revit* Solid knowledge of current Building Regulations* Experience leading project teams and working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors* Strong ability to produce detailed working drawing packages and coordinate technical information effectively* Excellent communication skills with the confidence to take initiative and work independently* Extensive experience on projects typically valued at £5m or more* Demonstrated delivery across RIBA Stages 4, 5, and 6, particularly in residential and commercial sectors* Advanced technical detailing skills and a strong understanding of contemporary construction methods
