Working with the UK's premier soft landscaping provider, we are in search of an experienced Contracts Manager to lead their Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance Contract across Solihull in partnership with the local council and another large organisation. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the contract(s), ensuring contract performance, successful delivery of objectives, fostering client relationships, effective people management, health and safety compliance, and optimal financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and uphold Health & Safety policies and legal requirements, including risk assessments and COSHH procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's quality standards while maintaining equipment safety.
  • Adhere to budget constraints while executing contracts to meet customer deadlines.
  • Foster strong client relationships by representing the company professionally and effectively communicating with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing large high-value contracts delivering varied services using a direct workforce, ideally within a Landscaping, Grounds Maintenance or Civil Engineering environment.
  • Understanding of financial management, legal and budgeting in the context of contract operations.
  • Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Professional attitude with a passion for elevating business profile and reputation.
  • Proven ability to motivate and manage teams for optimal performance.
  • Full driving license required.
