Architectural TechnicianLocation: CambridgeSalary: £32-36,000

A well-established, design-focused architectural practice in Cambridge is seeking a talented Architectural Technician to join its friendly and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of medium to large-scale projects across the residential, commercial, retail, leisure and heritage sectors throughout the South and East of England. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting projects from early design through to on-site delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate technical drawings, specifications and comprehensive construction packages
• Assist with planning applications and technical submissions
• Develop and coordinate drawing packages across multiple RIBA work stages
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth project coordination
• Support project delivery while maintaining compliance with current UK Building Regulations and standards
• Attend site visits and project meetings when required

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
• Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction techniques
• Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical drawings across various project stages
• Excellent communication skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach
• Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard software
