A reputable and well-regarded primary school in Fulwood is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from 13th April 2026 for a 12-month contract.

The school is known for its supportive leadership, welcoming staff team and strong relationships within the local community. They are looking for a teacher who is passionate about helping pupils thrive and who can deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.

The Role

Full-time teaching responsibility for a Year 2 class

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2

Strong classroom management and organisational skills

A commitment to supporting pupils' academic and personal development
