Hays Education is proud to be working with a vibrant primary school in Blackpool, seeking an experienced Year 6 Teacher to join their supportive team. Your new roleAs a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a crucial part in shaping pupils' final year of primary education, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared for their transition to secondary school. You will create dynamic and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire young learners while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Responsibilities include:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Prepare students for SATs while nurturing their confidence and wellbeing
- Support pupils in both academic and personal development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to ensure pupil success
- Implement innovative teaching strategies to drive engagement
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualifications
- KS2 teaching experience, ideally within Year 6
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for education and commitment to pupil achievement
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their potential
