Year 4 Teacher

We are recruiting for a Year 4 Teacher for a Primary School in Liverpool (L7) to work on a long-term basis starting immediately!

The Year 4 Teacher role is to start immediately- July 2026. There are 28 children in the class and there is one full-time TA working on a one to one basis with an SEND child. The school would like someone who has previous KS1 teaching experience and someone who has good behaviour management skills. With this Year 4 Teacher role they are looking for someone who is also confident to deliver the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Your role & responsibilities:

* Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
* Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
* Managing behaviour
* Upholding school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons

Non-negotiables:

* You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
* Hold QTS
* Knowledge of the national curriculum
* Be passionate and understanding
* Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
* Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
* Good communication skills
