Our client, a leading engineering firm based in Sittingbourne, are looking to recruit Quality Operative to work with their Final Inspection team . Specialising in manufacturing precision engineered components they are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated individual with a passion for ensuring product quality and timely delivery.

Main Duties

* Perform final stage component inspections, both visual and measuring as appropriate.

* Perform final stage corrections as needed using hand tools

* Properly pack and label finished products for safe transport and delivery.

* Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule and coordinate shipments.

* Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements

* Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Quality environment.

* Experience with both hand tools and basic measuring equipment

* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

* Good administration and basic computer skills for record-keeping and data entry.

* You must be physically fit as the role entails a degree of manual handling and long periods of standing.

Hours of work

Monday-Thursday #removed# and Friday #removed#. 38 hours a week
