CNC Miller / CNC Machinist

Salary: £22.01ph basic rate, £27.51ph shift rate 
Location: based near Carmyle, Glasgow (G32)
Hours: 37 hours, Monday-Friday, 3-shift rotation 
Contract: Permanent

We're supporting a precision engineering manufacturer in Glasgow that is hiring multiple CNC Machinists with 5-axis milling experience. You'll be working on high-precision components for critical industries in a modern machining environment.

Shift patterns: 

Mon to Thurs, 6 am - 2 pm & Fri, 6 am - 1.30 pm
Mon to Thurs, 2 pm - 10 pm & Fri, 2 pm - 9.30 pm
Mon to Thurs, 10 pm - 6 am & Fri, 10 pm - 5.30 am (have the option to start on a Sunday night or Monday night)

CNC Miller Duties
Set, program and operate 5-axis milling machines

Read and interpret engineering drawings

Carry out machine adjustments, checks and basic maintenance

Inspect finished components to tight tolerances

Work closely with engineering and production teams

CNC Miller Profile
Proven experience in 5-axis CNC milling

Ability to read engineering drawings

Ideally time served or experience served 

Good communication and teamwork
