Employee Relations Advisor
Location: Kingston (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 3+ Months
Pay Rate: £23 per hour (Umbrella)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join Kingston Council on a 3+ month contract. This hybrid role is ideal for a confident HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, looking to support a large public sector organisation through complex casework and change.
Key Responsibilities:Provide consistent, high-quality advice and support to managers on a range of employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and conduct.
Support the end-to-end management of ER cases in line with council policies and employment legislation.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all casework, ensuring compliance with data and confidentiality standards.
Work collaboratively with other HR professionals, managers, and stakeholders to achieve timely, effective outcomes.
Contribute to the review and improvement of ER policies, processes, and best practice guidance.
Essential Skills & Experience:Proven track record in a similar ER Advisor or HR Advisor role, ideally within the public sector.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Ability to manage a high volume of cases, working independently and to deadlines.
Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
