THE CLIENT
Our client is a market-leading provider of specialist solutions to the manufacturing industry, a market worth £396billion in the UK. They provide systems products that are essential for the running of production lines throughout all facets of this market.

Thanks to record growth in their sector, they are seeking to recruit two new Business Development Managers to further grow their market share.

THE ROLE
You will work with a variety of stake-holders across a vast array of businesses from SME to Blue-chip, dealing with buyers, senior management and production engineers to provide bespoke and off-the-shelf product solutions to suit their needs.

This is a territory-based role where you'll spend most of your time in the field along with working from home. The sales function works as a close-knit team working towards common goals so you can expect a high level of ongoing support and help from your manager and your colleagues to help you succeed.

If you have the sales skills and new business acumen but would like to move to a more project-driven role where you have the opportunity to build solid relationships in an interesting and varied environment, this is the job for you.

THE CANDIDATE
Product or market experience is less important than your sales and new business development experience. You should be able to demonstrate a high-degree of sales acumen, and a natural instinct for business development. You are a new business hunter, used to overcoming objections and knocking down barriers to help you forge lasting relationships with customers who end up coming back to you again and again.
