Talent Development Systems Project Manager - 12 months (Inside IR35) - £600 Daily Rate - Birmingham - Hybrid (2-3 days a week on site)

My client BT is currently looking for a Business Project Manager (Talent Development systems) with the primary role of managing the delivery of Talent Development systems within BT's HR Transformation Programme. The new solution is based on SAP's SuccessFactors SaaS solution and builds upon the SAP Learning Management System.

As the Business Project Manager for this area, you will manage the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors Succession Planning, Performance & Goals, Career Development Planning modules and a third-party Learning Experience Platform, working closely with the Talent Development Portfolio Product Owner. You will be responsible for project managing the delivery of these, including the RFP selection process of an LXP, and associated business processes and change management activities within the HR Transformation Programme .


• Accountable for leading the delivery of projects(s) that are large, complex and represent significant benefit and risks to BT within a complex stakeholder environment.

• Managing the delivery of the project so that the deliverables and releases are completed on-time.

• Report progress accurately to the PMO and stakeholders through regular progress reports and project briefings to the Management Delivery Group.

• Project manage the commercial activities working with specialists in BT Procurement, for the selection of the LXP vendor and systems integrator.

• Arranging a project kick-off and creating the Project Charter (PID) for assigned projects

• Formally manage risks and issues to ensure that they are identified and managed within the project where possible.

• Manage stakeholders, including project sponsors at Director Level providing regular updates to them and managing expectations and agreeing priorities.

Skills and Experience:

• Advanced experience of managing projects to deliver new systems, services, and transformational change.

• Project management qualifications, such as PRINCE2.

• Experience of managing large deployments of HR systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors and Talent Development Systems.

• Use of Project Management tools, such as MS Project, JIRA and standard project management controls and documents.

• Use of agile management tools, such as JIRA or Trello to manage actions, issues, & defects
