SEND Teaching Assistant - ASD & Learning Support (Primary)

Aspire People are looking for a compassionate and attentive SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and associated learning needs within a primary school. This role focuses on supporting communication, structure, and engagement in learning.

**The Role:**
* Supporting pupils with ASD within the classroom environment
* Assisting with structured routines and visual learning strategies
* Supporting small group work and occasional 1:1 interventions
* Encouraging communication, interaction, and social development
* Helping adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
* Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to support individual education plans

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Experience supporting children with ASD or additional learning needs
* Patient, understanding, and adaptable approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of strategies to support communication and sensory needs (desirable)
