ESG Compliance Officer
A leading Wealth & Asset Management business is looking to hire an ESG Compliance Officer to join their growing Compliance function in a newly created role. The position will be an initial 18 month fixed term contract. This role will require an individual that has a genuine interest in ESG and must be comfortable working very closely with the front office as they expand their ESG offering.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide advice & guidance to the business on ESG regulations.
- Identify new ESG regulatory developments relevant to the business and communicate these findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop internal policies and procedures.
- Establish and maintain key relationships across the business and external parties with regard to ESG.
- Develop training on ESG.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years ESG experience working within a fund management business, ideally from within Compliance or similarly focused department.
- Excellent understanding of ESG regulations including SDR &, SFDR.
- Knowledge of funds, UCITS & AIFS, preferable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
