Randstad Education is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with special educational needs. We have an immediate opportunity at a fantastic specialist school in Watford.
We need individuals with at least 6 months' experience working with SEN children. Whether you are an existing Teaching Assistant looking to specialize in SEND, transitioning from a care role, or an experienced SEN TA seeking a new challenge, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities Include:
- Providing individual or small group support to students.
- Assisting the teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Supporting students with challenging behaviour.
- Preparing lesson materials and equipment.
- Assisting with students' personal care (e.g., feeding, toileting).
- Helping students with daily tasks and learning activities.
- Ensuring student safeguarding and support.
Required Qualifications:
- Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with children who have additional needs.
- 2 recent professional references.
- Experience managing challenging behaviours.
- Calm and caring demeanour.
- Strong and resilient personality with a commitment to student development.
- Good reading, writing, numeracy, and communication skills.
- Team Teach training (or willingness to attend).
