Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team!


  • Grow B2B sales for Charleston 
  • Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
  • Establish sales goals and metrics



  • Minimum 2 years outside new sales B2B development
  • Strong cold calling and networking skills/experience
  • Moving and storage or logistics experience preferred but not required
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms or related software


  • Drive strategies to ensure revenue growth for a set target segment to include local commercial, relocation and associations
  • Develop new business to grow the individual and commercial customers
  • Manage existing customer relationships to increase utilization and increase revenue by driving “net new” opportunities
  • Establish relationships with agents, brokers, remodeling companies and staging companies to develop contacts
  • Conduct presentations to educate consumers on our products, services and conduct needs analysis for utilizing company’s product to ultimately close deals
  • Focus sales strategy on specific business segments as directed, and based on the needs of the company
  • Understand and adapt to market and industry trends, competitors and leading customer strategies
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
  • Implement marketing action plans and sales initiatives to drive more sales
  • Generate reporting to track leads and sales
  • Provide regular activity reports
  • Up to 50% local travel by car in assigned region
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
