Job Title: Carpenter - Social Housing (Temp to Perm)

Location: South London

Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: £21.40 per hour (CIS)
Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to work on a social housing maintenance contract, covering both occupied and void properties. This is a mobile role with a van and fuel card provided, offering a temp-to-perm opportunity with a stable, long-term employer.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry within domestic social housing settings

Install and repair doors, skirting, kitchens, flooring, and other timber works

Ensure all works meet safety and quality standards

Work professionally in tenants' homes, maintaining high levels of customer service

Complete works independently and efficiently within scheduled timeframes

Essential Requirements:

Apprenticeship in Carpentry/Joinery

City & Guilds in Carpentry

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Wood Occupations

Valid DBS check

UKATA or IATP Asbestos Awareness Certificate

Full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided)

Proven experience in domestic/social housing repairs
