Senior Supply Chain Manager-Food Solutions
Background & Purpose of the Job
The Food Solutions Sr. Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading the SC work stream in innovations and ensure stage-gate OTIF for supply chain for Food Solutions. Under the C4G organisation in PC a Project Management Office (PMO) manages the detailed project planning, network management and schedule adherence in innovation projects. The SC Manager role is therefore responsible for all the SC inputs into innovation projects, supporting the brand in achieving the growth targets and leading the 5S Program for the supply chain and brand. The role requires extensive knowledge of the supply chain configuration, Functional Excellence in IPM, and good knowledge of product design and manufacturing processes.
Who You Are & What You'll Do
The role of Food Solutions SC Manager is located in North America with close proximity to Brand and R&D teams. This role will interface with Brand, R&D, Procurement & Supply Chain teams, have 2 WL1 direct reports (located in NJ) and work closely alongside the wider Food Solutions Supply Chain team.
You're a born leader: You will lead the SC work stream for innovation projects as per guidelines laid down under Functional Excellence in IPM and as per the 70-20-10 framework. Represent and be the voice of SC in cross-functional forums on innovations. You will also provide SC inputs in to project networks and be accountable for ensuring stage-gate OTIF on SC work stream. Ensure robust SC handshake with cluster teams on innovation projects at the appropriate gate. Lead program management and/or specific activities in category for delivering margin accretion via innovation portfolio.
You're a dot connector: You will manage interfaces within SC i.e., Quality, Procurement, Engineering for innovation projects and bring in relevant experts from SC functions to deliver the Innovation project and 5S savings initiatives. You will support portfolio management with functional partners in R&D and Category Finance at Global Brand team meetings.
You're a change maker: As part of the wider PC Supply Chain team you will connect and manage key work streams and game changers to drive one of the PC Pillars across the Category. You will represent both PC and Skin care and ensure we define the program required to deliver the Supply Chain requirements for the future.
You're a paradox navigator: As part of the project team you will be responsible for landing projects in required timescales often requiring different ways of working in order to meet the brief. A good balance between creative thinking and risk mitigation is required to ensure we maximize the growth potential of a project whilst ensuring we still achieve OTIF launches into the market.
What You'll Need To Succeed
Educated to degree level, preferably with a Masters qualification.
Minimum of 5 years experience in the supply chain.
Experience in Planning required but preferably Supply chain experience in at least two of the PLAN-MAKE-SOURCE-DELIVER verticals.
Thorough understanding of innovation processes and of IPM Finance and business acumen for supply chain.
Experience leading/working with virtual teams and driving performance across a diverse mixture of cultures.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and collaborate in a virtual team environment.
Work hours Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
