What do you need to know about this school?

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a Specialist SEN school who have facilities that are second to none. They cater for children and young people aged 3-19, who have a wide range of additional learning needs including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome and Sensory Processing difficulties. You will work in collaboration with a tight knit team of Special Needs Support Officers and the class teacher to  implement an adapted curriculum that is accessible for all whilst considering individual personal needs on a daily basis.

The Successful Trainee Special Needs Classroom Assistant will:

Have the ability to use your initiative in situations that maybe challenging.
Be open to support and guidance from others.
Have a nurturing personality and not take themselves too seriously.
Though we are recruiting specifically for September - we will be looking to recruit for successful candidates to work side of this side of July.

What do Teaching Personnel require from you?

Enhanced DBS that is valid and on the update service.
Registration with the Education Workforce Council.
References from your last 2 previous employers over the last 6 year period.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
