HR Business Partner - 13 month FTC

We are supporting our client in the recruitment of an experienced HR Business Partner to deliver a high-quality, proactive and solutions-focused HR service. The role partners with senior leaders to drive effective people strategies, support organisational performance and lead key change initiatives.

Role Purpose

Provide a strategic HR business partnering service, delivering best-practice guidance, supporting organisational goals and ensuring consistent, people-focused solutions across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Develop and deliver people plans aligned to organisational strategy.
  • Lead and support change programmes including restructures, redeployment, redundancies and TUPE.
  • Provide expert advice on organisational design and workforce planning.
  • Partner with resourcing teams to identify recruitment needs and support senior-level hiring.
  • Drive succession planning, talent development and capability building.
  • Coach and upskill managers on performance, absence, conflict resolution and recruitment best practice.
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Support the embedding of organisation-wide initiatives, culture and values.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law and HR best practice.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across the HR function.

Skills & Experience

  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Broad generalist HR experience, typically 5+ years, including advisory or business partnering responsibility.
  • Proven experience managing complex change projects.
  • Strong employment law knowledge.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Highly organised with strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving ability.
  • Professional, credible, adaptable and solutions-focused.
  • Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
