Salary: £41,000 per year
Hours: Days - Monday to Friday
About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Miller (Setter/Operator) to join their machining team at their Bredbury, Stockport facility. This is a day-shift position working primarily on HB milling machinery, focusing on setting and operating to produce high-quality machined components. Programming is not required for this role.
Key Responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC milling machines

Producing components to engineering drawings and specifications
*
Conducting in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment
*
Maintaining machining quality and efficiency standards
*
Supporting continuous improvement and safe working practices
*
Ensuring accurate job documentation and process adherence
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a CNC Miller (Setter/Operator)
*
Experience with Fanuc controls (editing)
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
*
Competence with inspection tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
*
High attention to detail and quality standards
*
Team-focused with a proactive approach to work
