Electromechanical Assembler – Motion Capture TechnologyOxford | On-site | PermanentCutting-edge Tech | High-Performance Products | Engineering & Life Sciences

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler to join a world-leading provider of motion capture technology, renowned for developing high-performance software and hardware products used in major films, games, biomechanics, robotics, and scientific research.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on industry-defining products within an innovative and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electro-mechanical products following detailed assembly drawings, instructions, and BOMs.

  • Diagnose mechanical faults at the component level and manage repair/replacement processes.

  • Support dispatch and goods-in functions when required.

  • Assist with testing, kit verification, stock counts, and packing.

  • Provide hands-on feedback to engineering teams to drive product improvements and design enhancements.

  • Maintain a clean, organised work area and adhere to high-quality standards.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality control activities.

  • Proactively manage stock levels of consumables and report low stock to procurement.

  • Work independently while collaborating effectively within a small, focused production team.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience with mechanical assembly (ideally electro-mechanical products).

  • Previous box build assembly experience is advantageous.

  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach.

  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage workloads with minimal supervision.

  • Comfortable working to production deadlines.

  • Basic computer literacy (Word, Excel, databases).

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

  • Enthusiastic team player committed to high standards.
