Duties and Responsibilities : High-energy, driven individuals with desire to work in technology sales in life sciences, required to perform these duties. The people in this role will be driving new business opportunities to address increased market demand for our products and our innovative service offerings. Specific responsibilities will include: Perform research and generate leads Identify decision-makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process Actively prospects, leverage potential new business opportunities, and source business Collaborate with team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches Coordinate with Regional VPs and others to schedule meetings and capabilities presentations Analyze potential opportunities and develop detailed sales strategies for each customer Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions Assist in creating RFP responses to potential clients Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events Outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and up-sell Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls, and convert into sales Overcome objections of prospective customers Emphasize product/service features and benefits Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position Education/Work Experience: You are focused, persistent, and desire a role where your variable earning potential is uncapped. You are confident about your ability to both identify and generate business. Additionally, your previous achievements show a demonstrable track record of developing and closing new business. You have well-developed prospecting skills, and you identify as a hunter, not a farmer. You have a desire to work with organizations such as CROs, imaging core labs, pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology companies. You have prior experience using Salesforce or similar CRM and excellent software skills, especially Excel.
