Engineering Administrator, Sandy

£23,500 - £25,000

Main Responsibilities: -

* To provide administrative support primarily to the engineering team consisting of the mechanical, electrical, and automation engineers, total of 12.

* To standardise and maintain the way that part numbers and descriptions are entered onto the ERP system for both mechanical and electrical design.

* Accurately build BOMs (Bills of Materials) for purchasing.

* Issue DOI's (Drawing Office Instructions) once BOM's have been structured.

* Issue DOI's to the purchasing team

* Collate all timesheets for the engineering team as requested by payroll in a timely manner.

* Creation of contact parts lists and collation of material certificates

* Generate spares lists by identifying spare parts for machine and produce relevant spares reports.

* Collate drawings for the machine instruction manual in suitable format.

* Collation of reports

* Chasing outstanding orders with supplier to update the delivery dates where required.

* Ensure suppliers have provided the necessary documentation in order to be on the approved supplier list.

* Collate information for validation documentation for sub-contractor validation engineer.

* Provide reception cover on ad hoc basis.

Our client is looking for someone who can read engineering drawings, worked previously within a manufacturing environment, and has experience of MS Suite as well as ERP knowledge. You will also have great attention to detail, excellent communication skills with clear and concise written and oral dialogue.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
