Great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer or a confident and ambitious Scientist looking to transition into an Engineering role within an expanding field service team.

You will be responsible for the installation/service/maintenance and validation of both gas chromatography and mass spectrometry systems at customer sites covering the Northeast of England, including commercial laboratories and universities.

To be suitable for this position, you will be a confident Scientist/Analyst with 2+ years hands-on experience with GC-MS. You will also be used to maintaining, troubleshooting, and fixing GC-MS/LC-MS systems. Applications are also invited from existing Field Service Engineers and skilled onsite instrument engineers.

You must be willing to travel extensively - about 80% of your time. You will also have excellent communication skills and able to provide a high level of customer service.
