About the Role:
Lock Global are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded café/restaurant in Glasgow's vibrant West End. Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Chef with a strong background in Italian cuisine to join their growing kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes including pasta, pizza, and classic specials

* Maintain consistency and presentation standards across all dishes

* Support menu development with fresh ideas and seasonal ingredients

* Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations

* Work effectively as part of a fast-paced kitchen team

* Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation

Requirements:

* Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen

* Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine is essential

* Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment

* Passion for fresh food and high-quality ingredients

* Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

* Relevant food hygiene certification preferred
