We have been approached by a principal contractor to search for a Contracts Manager to oversee projects mainly within the industrial sector.

Established for over 30 years this regional SME has served clients with integrity and a non-adversarial approach for a sustained period of time

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for up to 3 projects ranging from £250,000 - £5m across the industrial, automotive, education and healthcare sectors.

Your responsibilities will include
• Programming,
• Construction Procurement,
• Planning and Site Logistics,
• Health & Safety planning.
• Liaising with Clients, Architects and all Design Team members.
• Collaborating with Architects and Designers Working Drawings, Client Approvals etc.
• Pre-construction interviews.
• Managing and motivating site teams.
• Client Development and liaison.

Experience and Attributes

• You may have a trade or academic background but more importantly know how to build and problem solve.
• At least 5 years' proven experience as a Contracts Manager looking after multiple projects within the industrial sector.
• Suited to working in a non-adversarial and collaborative way.
• The position will suit a meticulous and tenacious personality who has good people skills with excellent communication with your managers and clients alike.
