Alexander Steele are working in partnership with an established chilled food manufacturer in Suffolk which are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer.

Roles + Responsibilies

* Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance of machinery and equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

* Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system failures promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts replacement, to track equipment performance and maintenance history.

* Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

On Offer

* An annual salary of £37,261

* Shift Pattern:

* week 1: Wed - Sat, 8am till 6pm

* week 2: Thurs - Sat, 8am till 6pm

* 23 days AL

* 1.5x OT.
