Location: Camden, London
Start Date: September 2025 (Potential for earlier start before summer holidays)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Salary: Dependent on experience

Are you a Psychology graduate or aspiring Educational Psychologist eager to gain hands-on experience in a school setting?

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join a supportive school in Camden as an Aspiring School-Based Psychologist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong academic background in psychology who is looking to work closely with students, SEN teams, and pastoral staff before pursuing further professional training.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A degree in Psychology or related field (or be working towards one)
A genuine interest in child development, educational psychology, and mental health
Some experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or support setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, patient, and empathetic approach
A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one before the start date)

Role Responsibilities:

Supporting students with a range of social, emotional, and behavioural needs
Assisting with assessments, observations, and targeted interventions under the guidance of SENCOs and pastoral teams
Contributing to individual education and behaviour support plans
Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and external agencies
Building strong, trusting relationships with students to support their wellbeing and academic progress
