Nursery Teaching Assistant Hertfordshire (EN11) Start: ASAP / April 2026 Full Time Long Term / Ongoing Role £90 – £120 per day (dependent on experience)

A friendly and well-supported mainstream nursery setting in the EN11 area of Hertfordshire is seeking a Nursery TA to support across early years provision. You’ll be working closely with class teachers and practitioners to support learning, play, and development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support children’s learning through structured and play-based activities
  • Assist with early phonics, communication and language development
  • Support behaviour and emotional regulation in a nurturing way
  • Help set up and maintain engaging continuous provision areas
  • Work closely with staff to track pupil progress

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years / Childcare
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
