Are you a passionate educator who loves unlocking potential and changing young lives? We're searching for an enthusiastic and experienced 1:1 Tutor to work with learners from KS1 to KS4, delivering personalised support across core subjects and the wider national curriculum.

In this rewarding role, you'll design engaging, confidence‑boosting sessions that help students close gaps, grow academically, and truly thrive. Because you'll be working closely with individual learners, a strong background and understanding of SEN is essential.

Position Details

Location: Knowsley

Role: 1:1 Tutor

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Varies depending on each student

End date: Ongoing

Contract type: Temporary

Hours: Part-time or full-time depending on your availability

Rate: From £25 to £30 per hour

Session length: Minimum 1 hour, maximum 3 hours per session

Experience, Training and Qualifications

QTS or equivalent

Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but not essential)

UK classroom teaching experience

A creative, patient approach and the ability to think outside the box

Eligibility Requirements

Right to work in the UK

Enhanced child barred list DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)

Two professional, child‑related references
