Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant to join our outstanding team of support staff working across Primary Schools in the Warrington area.

Whether you're seeking a full-time role, long-term placement, or progression into more responsibility, we have consistent opportunities available and strong candidates are often placed quickly.

We are particularly interested in Teaching Assistants who have:

• A recognised TA qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable) OR extensive classroom experience

• Worked across a range of year groups (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)

• Led group interventions such as phonics, reading, maths or social skills

• Supported pupils with additional needs

• Taken on additional responsibilities such as cover supervision, planning support, or behaviour mentoring

• Strong behaviour management, flexibility and a proactive attitude

The types of roles you may be placed into include:

• Year 2 or Year 6 intervention support (boosting progress)

• Year 3 or Year 4 group work within a mainstream classroom

• 1:1 SEN support for pupils with additional needs

• General classroom TA roles supporting the class teacher

• Full-time, long-term positions with potential to secure a permanent contract
