Overall Purpose of Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic business that is experiencing exceptional growth. We're looking for a results-driven Estimating Manager for our Architectural Division who has excellent interpersonal skills to actively seek out and engage with our customers and key prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to drive sales, top-line revenue growth, customer purchasing levels and profitability. You'll understand key market trends and understand which prospects are most likely to convert. You'll be analytical and inform the business of which projects are most profitable in order to shape future Marketing lead generation activity.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the estimation process, employing meticulous checks and balances to eliminate errors.

* Ensure each estimate leaving the Team is accurate and precise, instilling client confidence and reducing potential risks.

* Drive efficient coordination among Team members to successfully manage large projects and customers who will likely purchase through us. This role requires an individual who understand which customers convert and which customers are purely using us as a benchmarking exercise.

* Possess in-depth product knowledge of our product range and be able to identify product opportunities.

* Analyse market's potential, track sales and status reports

* Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

* Foster seamless collaboration between the Architectural Metal Estimation, Project Management, and Draughting teams

* Supply senior management with reports on customer needs, potential problems, competitor activities and potential for new products and services.

* Keep abreast of best practices and market trends.

* Continuously improve through feedback

* Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.

* Reach out to customer leads and follow-up on submitted quotes.

* Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.

* Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills

Knowledge and Skills

* Proven work experience as an Estimating Manager

* Excellent knowledge of MS Office

* Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing

* Strong background in securing successful project bids and leading teams to consistent positive outcomes.

* Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accurate estimations and risk reduction.

* Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and organisational skills

* Ability to identify new target markets and penetrate them to drive sales. This information needs to be shared with the Senior Team in order to shape future Marketing strategies.

* Demonstrate advanced product knowledge.
