We are seeking a competent and experienced Site Safety Manager to oversee health and safety operations during the installation of a mechanical product on a construction site. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of all personnel by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety procedures, with a strong emphasis on producing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and implement comprehensive RAMS for all mechanical installation activities.
• Ensure all site operations are carried out in compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and project-specific requirements.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and daily briefings/toolbox talks.
• Monitor high-risk activities and provide practical safety guidance to project teams.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; document findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all workers are competent and adequately trained for their tasks, including understanding the RAMS.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, permits, and reports.
• Conduct inductions for new personnel, including familiarization with site-specific RAMS and emergency procedures.
• Keep current with industry regulations and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of safety processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in writing, reviewing, and implementing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• NEBOSH Diploma or Certificate
• CSCS Card
• First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
