We are looking for a dynamic Store Manager to take the helm of our client Derby store. As the operational heart of our business, you won't just be "running a shop"—able to balance high-level financial strategy with hands-on team leadership, you will be pivotal in ensuring our continued success as a leading UK storage provider.

The Role: Your Impact

As Store Manager, you own the P&L of your site. You will lead a dedicated team to hit financial targets, maintain a safe environment, and deliver world-class customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Profitability: Achieve financial targets by converting enquiries into sales and identifying opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Lead & Develop: Recruit, coach, and mentor your team through PDPs and appraisals to help them reach their full potential.
  • Marketing & Strategy: Partner with the Regional Manager to design and execute local marketing plans that increase occupancy.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store standards, ensuring the site is clean, safe, and fully compliant with H&S legislation.
  • Customer Experience: Act as a brand ambassador, responding effectively to diverse customer needs and ensuring every "mystery shop" is a success.

What We’re Looking For

We need a leader who is as comfortable with a spreadsheet as they are with a customer. You should demonstrate:

  • Commercial Acumen: The ability to interpret business performance data and turn it into actionable growth plans.
  • Sales Drive: A proven track record of exploiting sales opportunities and improving conversion rates.
  • Leadership: Experience building a cohesive team, managing rotas, and leading by example.
  • Communication: Exceptional rapport-building skills with both staff and customers.
  • Ownership: A "can-do" attitude—taking responsibility for everything from store repairs to high-level financial reporting.
