Location: Oldbury

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

Salary: £21,000 - £30,000 per annum (DOE)

Role Overview:

Our client are looking for a new member of their team to work as a High Needs Tutor (HNT). They are a leading UK training provider with over 30 years of experience in Study Programmes and Apprenticeships. As an experienced High Needs Tutor (HNT), you will be based in their Oldbury centre, supporting small groups of learners with functional skills and ICT to enhance their independence and skills for their future. You will work with learners with mild to moderate educational needs and/or disabilities, ensuring they have access to high-quality education and support.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and assess learners to support their confidence, effectiveness, and independence in life and work.

* Plan and deliver a creative curriculum tailored to individual student needs.

* Support learners with additional needs while motivating them to achieve high levels of success.

* Build effective relationships with learners, parents/carers, and staff.

* Achieve company KPIs and Individual Performance Plan targets.

Essential/Desirable Criteria:

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in 14-24 provision.

* Full Teaching Qualification (PGCE, QTS, PTLLS, DTLLS)

* Experience teaching students with Autism and/or Special Educational Needs (SEN)

* Patience, resilience, and motivation.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Vision, innovation, and passion for teaching and learning.

* Experience and understanding of safeguarding processes.

* Full, clean UK Driving License.
